The owner and head instructor of Cobra Kai is none other than Sim Go himself. Sim Go, like all of the instructors at this gym, has an extensive background in Jiu-Jitsu and is a well respected member of the Jiu-Jitsu community. Sim Go is a 14 time Grappler’s Quest Champion as well as an ADCC Veteran, Abu Dhabi North American Trials Champion, Pan American Silver Medalist, No Gi Worlds Bronze Medalist, and has accomplished many other fantastic achievements during his still and ongoing Jiu-Jitsu fighter career.

The Drysdale Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school is one that is owned by none other than Robert Drysdale himself. Robert Drysdale is an undefeated MMA fighter who has been training Jiu-Jitsu a very long time. Robert has his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is an IBJJF World Champion in the black belt division. Robert is also an ADCC World Champion in the absolute division. When Robert is not instructing classes at this gym, which is his very own, he is out training the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team he helped co-found known as the Zenith BJJ Team. Zenith has schools set up all over the world in which Robert travels to teaching seminars. Beginning his Jiu-Jitsu career in 2010, Hector was hooked in the art immediately. Hector made the incredible leap of going from a blue belt to a brown belt in just two years. He learned the art from Rubens ‘Cobrinha’ Charles Maciel where he continues to pass on the knowledge he learned to others who are trying to improve not only their grappling skills and Jiu-Jitsu but life in general as well. Since his upcoming of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, professor Hector Vasquez has competed in many fights in which he has emerged victorious. These include winning 5 World Champion titles, 4 Pan American titles, the 5x, and in 2017 he was the American Nationals Champion. Still to this day, Hector competes in as many competitions and tournaments he can. As a professor of the sport, Hector’s main goal is to train future World Champions and being one himself over and over, his goals are being achieved.

The Vills Brothers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym is a family owned facility that will treat you with respect and act as if you are one of their own family members. This gym has every aspect of grappling that you could possibly imagine, from training with your gi, no gi, wrestling, and even some Judo, the Vills Brothers gym is one that will whip you into a lean, mean, fighting machine. The three brothers that train at this gym have all been learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu since they have been born, basically training and competing their whole lives. AJ is the oldest of the three brothers, AJ has been training since the age of 5 and is not a very good purple belt. In high school, AJ started wrestling and was even a NIAA Nevada State Placer in 2016 and was even in the top 27 percent nationwide for wrestling. He is now a Certified Clark County District Wrestling Coach and even helps coach the JV wrestling team at the local high school. The middle aged brother has followed his older brothers’ footsteps in almost the exact same way. Alika, is a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu and has been training since he was 5 years old, the same as his older brother AJ. The youngest of them all is 8 year old Arona. Arona has been being trained in Jiu-Jitsu since he was just 3 years old and is currently an orange/white belt.

The head instructor and coach at the Vills Brothers gym is Coach Matt. Matt has been trained under Robert Drysdale and during his Jiu-Jitsu journey found a passion for teaching children.
