The avid climber uses quickdraws so they can attach their rope to protection points while there are lead climbing. A quickdraw is a textile sling with a carabiner on both ends. Some other positives of these quickdraw are they are really light and small. The Dyneema material that is used on these quickdraws are light and they do that without giving up any strength. This also makes them easy to carry and pack. They are easy to clip and smooth and the carabiners on these are strong with KN ratings that are higher than many of the larger carabiners out there. There is also a rubber liner on one side of the dogbone that helps maintain the appropriate alignment of the carabiner to be clipped easier. They are also pretty affordable compared to many others.
