The #Cowboys have expressed an interest in 2x Pro Bowler and former SMU wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders per a source informed. Sanders, last with the 49ers, trains in Dallas in the offseason and is equally interested in the #Cowboys I’m told.

Sanders laced them up in 17 games last season. His catch percentage last season was 68.0% and he got there by pulling in 66 of the 97 throws that went his way. He earned 869 last year and wrapped up the year with an average of 13.2 yards/reception. In the previous season, Sanders grabbed 5 TDs and his longest catch of the season was 75 yards. Sanders contributed 22.9% of the receiving offense for the San Francisco 49ers, compiling 869 yards last season.
One player who will be impacted by this move is Amari Cooper. When looking at the Dallas Cowboys 4,751 total yards through the air last season, Cooper accounted for 25.0% of the receivers output. Cooper (8 receiving TD’s) accumulated an average of 74.3 yds per game receiving and he averaged 4.9 catches per contest. His longest reception last year went for 53 yds and he caught 66.4% of the passes thrown in his direction. He hauled in 79 passes thrown his way (23rd in the league) which averages 15.1 yards per catch.
