After years of being one of the top traditional fantasy spots out there, Yahoo has entered the DFS world with Yahoo Daily Fantasy Sports. Many people wondered if they were going to be able to compete with the big boys, and the early signs are positive. So, are they the DFS for you? Let’s take a look at what Yahoo Fantasy has to offer its customers.

If you are a fan of American sports, then you will probably like the sports that Yahoo Fantasy offers. Their most popular sports are NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games, but they plan on offering plenty more soon. Of course, it won’t be a big deal to people who wouldn’t be using the site regularly since it takes a while to reap the rewards from those bonuses. You also won’t find too many unique games at Yahoo Fantasy, which keeps them from standing out from the bunch. They do have the games that most DFS players would want to find, but it would have been great if they had come up with something that made it an easy decision to choose them over all of the others. As of right now, you’ll have to be happy with basic DFS games and contests.
Overall Opinion
While Yahoo Fantasy is one of the newest kids on the block, it is impressive how quickly they have been able to match or exceed what the most popular DFS sites offer. Once they add in a few more sports and a couple more formats, they could just be one of the best spots to go. Don’t be surprised if it only takes a year or two for them to be considered one of the top daily fantasy sports sites on the planet.
